To alleviate any discomfort, we’ll apply a topical numbing cream and let it sit for 30 minutes. Once the procedure begins, you will feel a little pinch whenever the device is pressed on your skin.

Afterwards, your skin will be a bit red and warm, which can subside with help from the cold pack or cooling device we provide.

We typically recommend starting with 3 treatments (one treatment done every 4-6 weeks) to see a good improvement. Of course, this depends on what we are trying to treat. For instance, OLD acne scarring may take more treatments than newer acne scarring. You can typically begin to see results 2-3 months after each treatment as this is how long it takes for your skin to produce new, firmer collagen – patience, patience!

Immediately after, your skin may be warm and red. BUT, due to the radiofrequency, your skin heals much faster than with most treatments. Also, the majority of the treatment is happening in the skin’s lower layers, meaning on the surface, very little ‘downtime’ is visible.

The majority of patients appear mostly healed the following day. You can also wear mineral makeup the following day if needed.

You should not have Fibroblast if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have severe rosacea, active acne, prone to keloid scarring, are immunosupressed, have active cold sores, or have any broken skin/skin infection.

Also, patients with electrical devices such as the following: pacemakers, metal implants, artificial metal hip joints, heart valves, or dental plates cannot be treated as the radio frequency may interfere with these devices.
